JohnMuley
Yesterday, I have saved 1000+ customers data in MS Excel file. Today, when I’m trying to open Excel it stuck at opening file 0%. This message appears from last half an hour but still file not opened yet. To sort out this issue I have searched over Excel forums and search a few manual methods but still, it doesn’t work: 1. Start Excel in safe mode 2. Hardware graphics card disable 3. Install latest updates 4. Uninstall & Reinstall Microsoft Office 5. Closed Excel from Task Manager 6. Used free third party software’s I have found few references from where I get all these solutions: http://www.repairmsexcel.com/blog/resolve-excel-stuck-at-opening-file https://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?t=1129456 https://www.stellarinfo.com/repair-excel-file.php I forget to take back up of important data. Now I’m facing this kind of problem. I don’t want to spend dollars. Please help.

seadoggie01
I've seen this in VBA when I'm using a file on a local drive. Usually closing the window makes it finish. I have yet to understand why it does this though. All my code provided is Public Domain... but it may not work. Use it, change it, break it, whatever you want.
