That is easy to answer: /tcb means treat the Comment block as you would normal code so this:

#Tidy_Parameters=/tcb
#cs
    2018/10/XX
#ce
2018/10/XX

Becomes:

#Tidy_Parameters=/tcb
#cs
    2018 / 10 / XX
#ce
2018 / 10 / XX

As it is assumed to be an formula and let me be very clear about one thing here: Tidy assumes it is tidying valid syntax and doesn't do any syntax checking.

Today I try my Portable ENV on my notebook.
I had this results in console:

My question#1 is:
Is this intended behavior that I get two separate messages ?

My question#2 is:
Is this normal that I get this kind of message:

It look like this values are the same and there is no discreapancy .

Yes, they are 2 separate tests... but cosmetics so can be changed into anything we like.

Oh yes, there is a huge discrepancy!  

• Tidy.ini: tabchar= 0   (use x spaces for indentation ... 0=tabs)  => You are telling Tidy to use Tabs with an tabsize of 4.
• SciTE properties: use.tabs= 0   => SciTE is configured to use Spaces since this is set to 0

See the issue now?

Updated Tidy compact these message a little, available in Dev.

Will be moving this version to Beta soon and closing this thread as it all seems to be working for everybody (I guess)
