we need mor protection on the compiled scripts

Recommended Posts

Hello, my dears.
This is an urgent message for the administration.
I hope they understand what I say well and discuss about it.
First, the language of AutoIt is easy and simple.
I personally using it to designing  all my programs.
There's a problem that I hope you can solve.
It's about protection.
There's a tool called Exe2aut.
It  decompile the code in the recent versions of the program.
Even if you compress the program using UPX
Please please try to give up the compile protection this is really causing a lot of insomnia.
Imagine
that A person can work for months to designing a program, and eventually any one can get their source easly.
not just that. Imagine
also  for example if I  linked a program with a server and have special information such as database password and FTP data.
I hope you think about it, and if you need the file that i talked about it , tell me and I'll send it to you.
I hope you give this message your attention, as I await your response.
My greetings and I apologize for taking it long

You state the existence of exe2aut as if it isn't something we've known about for years:ermm:

This has been discussed numerous times, and even has its own sticky thread:

  • Yes, compiled scripts can be decompiled
  • Yes, regardless of what you do a determined person can get your source code.
  • Yes, there are programs to specifically decompile scripts - this is not something we can control or stop people from doing
  • Yes, if you want 100% protection, AutoIt is not the language for you (good luck finding 100% in any language).
  • No, we're not going to get into yet another long discussion on the topic - thread closed.
