Kobe Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 Hi everyone! I would like to ask if there is a possibility that I can use autoit to make a program that will automate the power options? I would like to change the options there using autoit. Any advice? Thanks in advance
badcoder123 Posted July 28, 2018 Posted July 28, 2018 (edited) I don't have a laptop but... I brought up "Power Buttons" (Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options\System Settings) and it looks like there is a control for it Bring up the AutoIt info on the button and you should see something similar to the attached file Then look at the Control functions at https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/intro/controls.htm Attachment 1. Kobe Posted July 28, 2018 Author Posted July 28, 2018 No, But thank you sir. What I'm after is the one I posted first. Do nothing, Sleep, Hibernate, Shutdown, Turn Off Display. These are the choices. I wanted to get their properties so that I can make a condition.
