KeeForm 2.04

Using Keepass version 1.09 I can no longer automatically log in to Hotmail as I did when using 1.08.

I added the following line to Keepass.ini file

KeeUrlOverride=cmd://"{APPDIR}\KeeForm.exe" "{URL}" "{USERNAME}" "{PASSWORD}" {ENTERFORM}

I also added the following line to Notes in the Database.kbd thinking it would fix the problem:

KeeUrl-Override: cmd://"{APPDIR}\KeeForm.exe" "{URL}" "{USERNAME}" "{PASSWORD}" {ENTERFORM}

Being new to this program I thought that someone might steer me right before I spend too much time digging (I've already expended too much time to no avail). Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply Dave. It was just the hotmail. As it turns out, and after trying many, many things the original code finally DID work, though I'm still not quite sure why. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with "Windows Live Hotmail" vs "regular hotmail". They each have a different login screen but both are reached by the same URL address. I'm not sure how I was getting the regular hotmail login (when the code wouldn't work) but somehow I started to get the Windows Live hotmail login screen and everything worked fine. It may have been something I did or just maybe the Hotmail site might have had some problems???? I'm sure someone out there knows why and I'm going to be embarrassed when I find the answer.

KeeForm doesn't appear to work when setup with the newest version of KeePass.

After copying the files to the KeePass directory, and modifying the ini file with the entry for KeeForm, Keepass won't even list it as an installed plugin.

I have experience similar to John Nano. I upgraded from keepass 1.08 to 1.09 and keeform stopped working after that. I downloaded latest version of keeform and carefully followed all instructions nevertheless it still doesnt work. Anyway I had to uninstall 1.09 and go back to 1.08. Then all works perfectly. Why suddenly keeform became incompatible with latest keepass? I run Win XP.

I cannot wait to try this - I really cannot believe it took this long, being that this script has been around so long - and then took a break for almost a year and then again another year, but did anyone check out how many downloads - thats a lot.

I am a happy user of Keepass 1.09 with KeeForm/KeeRun etensions and I have to tell these smart pieces of software make my life much more easier. But I experience one issue which disturbes me a bit.

I use the following script to login to my Skype account:

What is strange that the above script sometimes works and sometimes not.

I am running IE 6 on Win XP with NOD32 antivirus and I have experienced the same issue also with previous version of KeePass (1.08)

to keepass or keeform, but when I open a URL with KeeForm suppling url, userid and password I get the following error:

what surprise, it was my Virusprotector AVIRA Antivir. I changed nothing in the config. I just disabled it and it works. After reenabling it is still working. Thanks for the guidance and the tip

May I ask for some help in getting Keeform to run on Vista?

I have been running Keepass 1.09 with Keeform 1.06 from a flash drive on my XP machine and it works very well. But with the same flash drive in a Vista machine, when I double-click a URL entry to initiate login, one instance of IE will open, but it remains blank with no entry it the address field. Then a few seconds later another instance opens and shows the login page, but the user name and password are never entered. Also, an error message appears saying IE Error # 80020009 Unspecified error.

What can I do to correct this problem?

Hi rattletrap,

Vista has some enhanced security features. I don't want to give any advice, because I am not a security expert (I actually just turned off UAC and protected mode ...). But you can find some advice from other users here:
