Autoit fetch url in navigation tool bar

I am trying to fetch an URL of a website in navigation tool bar. Getting the title is of no use. I am using UISpy, there is no automation id, only process id is available. Can any one help me with this? thanks

If you use IE - it is very easy - check out the IE UDF ! FireFox also has an UDF and it is easy to get the url.

I was not able to use UDF in eclipse java. 

 

I tried the below which didn't work. Any help?

Java:

autoit.send(^l); autoit.send(^c); autoit.clipGet()

 

Send("^l");; select the address bar
Send("^c");; copy it to the clipboard
$sStr = ClipGet()

Which UDF did you try? Show your code. Also, you haven't even stated which browser you are using.

It appears the OP is trying to do it using the AutoItX dll and not AutoIt scripting, so he won't be able to use any of the UDFs. Although, if he looks at what is inside the UDFs it should be relatively easy to replicate what it's doing in another language, because most of the IE UDF is just dll calls to the IE dlls.
