asiawatcher
Hello all i need to make to automatically make a TEXT file (i know how to create a file) with contents all possible 12 digit hex combinations starting from 000000000000 000000000001 000000000002 000000000003 000000000006 00000000000A 000000000010 000000000011 000000000018 000000000022 000000000033 000000000044 000000000055 000000000066 000000000077 000000000088 000000000099 0000000000AA ..... .... etc etc and ending to FFFFFFFFFFFA FFFFFFFFFFFB FFFFFFFFFFFC FFFFFFFFFFFD FFFFFFFFFFFE FFFFFFFFFFFF How can i do that automatically ? (as if i manually write each one of these lines it will take forever) the output file i imagine would be quite large for all possible combinations This file with be used for an IT security audit tool (no hacking purposes) cheers Edited January 30, 2018 by asiawatcher
Moonscarlet
Hey, Try a simple counter in a loop and increase it every time by 1 then convert it to hex and keep writing it to a file until it reaches your number. https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/functions/Hex.htm I don't know if it would crash at those huge numbers tho Edit: https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/functions/FileWriteLine.htm Edited January 30, 2018 by Moonscarlet asiawatcher

jchd
Of course such a "file" is definitely unnecessary in any case. A simple (never-ending) For $i = 0 To 0xFFFFFFFFFFFF loop would be enough to achieve the task, provided your computer runs for that long. Geez!
