Windows Pocess Database

hi huys,

does anyone know if it exist a requestable process database on the internet ? that can be used from our programs.

example: SearchFilterHost.exe => return that it's a classical known windows process ...

  britneyspears.exe => it is known for having been used for a virus.

 

I just need an answer for a process name.

Or maybe , an offline database.

Not sure I understand your question, but if you're asking how to research a particular process there are a number of sites out there. File.net is one of the largest. You could also simply Google the executable name.

I believe they are looking to perform an automated lookup. Not sure if the websites allow it, but you could probably do it with WinHTTP.
