jchd
Querying any kind of SQL join is forcibly addressed to one RDBMS engine, hence all the tables must reside in DBs handled by this one engine. MySQL and SQLite don't know how to use each other DB format. I've had to perform such task and one solution is to copy one table from one DB into the other one, then query the join there. You must be careful to avoid inconsistancies if ever the DB containing the source table may cause changes in the other DB in the meantime. Earthshine
I guess you could write an app that queries both and builds a local table you can index for query lookups as indicated just above me. run him like the man in the middle Edited January 10, 2018 by Earthshine My resources are limited. Skysnake
I have used @mLipok's excellent ADO UDF to (a) link 2 DBF tables and update from one to another, then (b) insert data from DBF table into a local SQLite, or remote PostGreSQL table. I used AutoIt as the glue to process the SELECT queries and INSERT elements of the result array. Once in SQL you can do what you wish Skysnake Why is the snake in the sky?
