I am trying to make a script to use fast stone capture application (portable) to start recording video capture.

I tried this script which is partly recorded script, program starts but then nothing happens and no error reported:

Run("C:\Programs\FSCaptureportable\FSCapture.exe")
WinActivate("FSCapture.exe")
    Sleep(1000)
WinActivate("Screen Recorder","Record Screen  ")

FS capture have FSRecorder.exe process which is for video recording, it looks it cannot be started directly but only with FSCapture.exe

any help?

So.. i downloaded FScapture, when i open it, there's a toolbar with some icons, then i have to click one of them to take a screenshot or to record video, i don't understand how/why it would start to record with a winactivate.

I think you have to controlclick the things you want, to get where you want.

Well, seems like you need to see some tutorials and the help file first.

Controlclick, as all other functions has a syntax and only accepts propper parameters.

It needs brackets ( ). What you got there shows you didn't even bother to look at the information about the function, and we're not gonna do it for you.

ControlClick ( "title", "text", controlID [, button = "left" [, clicks = 1 [, x [, y]]]] )

https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/functions/ControlClick.htm

You need to use Au3info.exe to retrieve the ID for the control you want to click or whatever you need to do.

pointed you in the right direction, and now you come at me like that?

That attitude doesn't help. Cya.
