Stop function inside If Else condition

I have something like this:

Func MyFunction()
   If condition Then
      doSomething
   Else
      exitFunction
   EndIf
EndFunc

How can I exit the function inside the If Else condition?

EndFunc

Now awaits ternary 1 line example

I recently came to the realization that it is best practice for all functions to return an explicit Return $value.  Duh 

If not, then why not?

Obviously there may be times not to do so, but it does avoid problems if you put it in...

If condition Then MyFunction()
Func MyFunction()
   ;doSomething
   Return $value
EndFunc

What's the use of a return value if it isn't used?

As an FYI, all user functions already return a value when they end, it's zero. Adding a return value just for the sake of returning something (other than the default zero) is pretty much pointless if you're not going to use it.

Here's a silly one.

 

Global $condition = (True) ? SomeFunc(True) : False
    
Func SomeFunc($val)
    MsgBox(0, "Terniary Test", "$condition is: " & $val)
    Return $val
EndFunc   ;==>SomeFunc
