My bad!
Unfortunately you can't use wildcards on a DN attribute (e.g. distinguishedname). https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/5392.active-directory-ldap-syntax-filters.aspx

If you have all users in a single container you could limit the search to this container, else you need to eliminate unwanted users from the returned array.

@water

Local $aUserInfo = _AD_GetObjectsInOU("OU=company,DC=ad,DC=company,DC=org","(&(objectCategory=Person)(objectclass=user)(sAMAccountName=" & $aNames[$i] & "*)(!(ou:distinguishedName:=TransferZone)))","","displayName,distinguishedName")

This works. But do you know how to add more that should not to be included?

I have a "Leavers" not to be included.

Yours sincerely

Kenneth.

This does not work either.

(!(|(ou:distinguishedName:=TransferZone)(ou:distinguishedName:=Leavers))))

Shouldn't it be:

(&(!(ou:distinguishedName:=TransferZone)!(ou:distinguishedName:=Leavers))))

As you are running Microsoft Active Directory the following describes why it doesn't work:

Quote

(Warnung) As Microsoft Active Directory does not implement extensible matching, the following examples won't work with it.

(&(objectClass=group)(|(ou:dn:=Chicago)(ou:dn:=Miami)))

Does not work as the DistinguishedName does not support wildcards and looks like: CN=UserName,OU=Leavers,DC=Comapny,DC=tld

Seems we are back to the original idea:

$aResult = _AD_GetObjectsInOU(...)
For $i = $aResult[0][0] To 1 Step -1
    If $aResult[$i][0] = "" Or StringInStr($aResult[$i][0], "Leavers") > 0 Then
        _ArrayDelete($aResult, $i)
    EndIf
Next

Removes all records with displayname = "" (first column) or distinguishedname containing "Leavers" (columns 2)

Are you looking for a certain list of users from their sAMAccountNames?  What type of filter are you trying to add?  It depends on what you are looking for.
