hendrikhe
Hello, I am looking for a script that allows the user to select an area (with mouse) and save the screenshot of this selected area into a file. So far I found _ScreenCapture_Capture but how can I implement to make this function make a screenshot of the created rectangle. I am not even sure how to create this rectangle. Moderators Melba23 Posted March 17, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 17, 2017 (edited) hendrikhe, Here are 2 fairly old scripts from my Snippets folder - I have posted them before several times. The first marks a red rectangle, while the second creates a transparent rectangle, the contents of which are stored in a file and then displayed: Please ask if you have any questions.
