Hello everyone !

I was looking for a parameter to set a List. Not a ComboList in ReadOnly.

I've already found a topic about The readonly on a ComboList :

But nothing on List

Does someone know how to ?..

hcl,

What do you mean by a "read-only" list? A user cannot edit the entries of a default list so what exactly about that control do you not want? If you want the list contents to be unselectable, then just add the $LBS_NOSEL style to the control on creation (you will also need to include ListBoxConstants.au3.

Nope that 's not what i mean.

When you launch a gui with a list your current choice is displayed in an "input style" i would like to display it in a "button style"

Here's the program about the combobox read only and i would like to kow if it's possible to do the same thing on a list..

#include <GUIConstants.au3>

GUICreate('', 120, 40)
GUICtrlCreateCombo('', 10, 10, 100, 200, BitOR($CBS_DROPDOWNLIST, $CBS_AUTOHSCROLL, $WS_VSCROLL))

For $i = 1 To 50
    GUICtrlSetData(-1, 'Entry ' & $i)
Next
GUICtrlSetData(-1, 'Entry 1')

GUISetState()

While 1
    If GUIGetMsg() = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then Exit
WEnd

When you use this code, as you can see, the combo look like a button

So can I do the same with a list ?

That's not a "button style" that's just your interpretation of what it looks like, it looks nothing like a button to me.

You can't create a list that looks like a button when selected natively, you'd have to create that style yourself. Instead of using a listbox, you'd have to use a graphic with the contents of what you'd want in the list.

Your best option at this point is to create a script that sort of does what you want, and post it here so that others can take a look at it and make suggestions.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
