misrepresentative
There's no GUI. Thanks. I will probably recheck the alternatives now that you mention that. And yes, I know that. Blocking hotkeys is just a method. Similar functionality is blocked as well. BrewManNH
The only alternative that would work is the WinAPI_GetAsyncState, but it's just the same as using _IsPressed except it's written to use the VK* key constants. misrepresentative 1 If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. It's simply not possible to use HotKeySet in my case. It is considered more risky with mentioned environment. I just can't use it-- it's blocked. What is the name of the application that blocks it? If you use a general answer instead of the EXACT NAME of the application - I will consider you to be evasive in your responses to get around forum rules. So far you have not answer peoples question so now you are being asked directly - The name please. careca
Practical example: HotKeySet("+!d", "ShowMessage") ; Shift-Alt-d If _IsPressed("20") = True And _IsPressed("59") = True Then ShowMessage() EndIf Sure, keys are different, but why would you not be able to use either? misrepresentative 1 Spoiler Renamer - Rename files and folders, remove portions of text from the filename etc. GPO Tool - Export/Import Group policy settings. So far you have not answer peoples question so now you are being asked directly - The name please. Sorry. I personally think it's the other way around. And I did answer.. it's just that there are some restrictions related to the environment. Do note that most of the things I do are not available to public (until fixed by developers). It's certainly not the case for keyloggers and other suspicions that anyone might have as you could use both (or other methods). I cannot provide you with a name but it's a security product and this example has nothing to do with breaking rules or evasion at all. (In fact protection against keylogging does not exist. That's a separate product.) I really hope this clears up the confusion I caused. 1 hour ago, careca said: Practical example: HotKeySet("+!d", "ShowMessage") ; Shift-Alt-d If _IsPressed("20") = True And _IsPressed("59") = True Then ShowMessage() EndIf Sure, keys are different, but why would you not be able to use either? misrepresentative
Also, like I said, if you can prove that IsPressed can keyboard block input then I can't use this one either.
Moderators Melba23 Posted December 10, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 10, 2016 misrepresentative, I have no idea whether it will cope with whatever it is that you are doing, but have you tried using an Adlib function on a fast cycle to look for the keypress? That should run independently of the script itself.
