Automation using file browser

Hi,

I'm using selenium + C#, and AutoIT give me great solution to use file browser.

I'm running my tests on virtual machines, I noticed that when the AutoIT code need to run and my VM is in the background it's not working, do nothing, nothing happend in the file browser.

This is my AutiIT code:

AutoItX3 autoItObj = new AutoItX3();                
autoItObj.WinActivate("Open"); //Get the open window
autoItObj.Send(@"C:\Users\tfslab\Desktop\TestAppOffline.zip"); //send the file path
autoItObj.Send("{ENTER}"); //click on OK in the file browser

 

Any suggestions?
