aiter Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) I noticed that when I open up doctest.doc via Word, I see at the top Word says [readonly] [compatibility mode on] I created another copy of the document , edited it again to make sure it did not say [readonly] then ran the program again. It ran successfully. So the readonly flag must have been the culprit. Moving on. Thanks for your assistance, Mr Waters. Edited July 24, 2016 by aiter grammar
water Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 You could set parameter $bReadOnly = True to open a readonly file in readonly mode. Maybe this works too?
