Mingre
Say there are 5 UPDSends all at time 9:45:00 AM . . . Quote 1st send: "One" 2nd send: "Two" 3rd send: "Three" 4th send: "Four" 5th send: "Five" If I have UPDRecv running every 10 sec, starting at 9:45:10 AM, will the UDPRecv read all those 5 sends as such? Quote 1st send: "One" at 9:45:10 AM 2nd send: "Two" at 9:45:20 AM 3rd send: "Three" at 9:45:30 AM 4th send: "Four" at 9:45:40 AM 5th send: "Five" at 9:45:50 AM Thanks! BrewManNH
Maybe, maybe not. UDP isn't a very reliable way to send data if you need to know it's been sent and/or received. It's also not robust in keeping things synchronized, so there's no way to tell if it will be received in the same order it was sent, or even if what was received is a duplicate packet from what was sent. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
