Scite.exe not a valid Win32 Application on Windows 7

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I have the latest Scite installed (SciTE4AutoIt3 3.6.2 - Feb 15 2016 18:42:26), running on Windows 7.

I tried running Scite in parallel to AutoIT, with running manually in the command line "C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE\Koda\FD.exe" /Scite,

It didn't work, and ever since, I can't activate Koda from the AutoIT Tools menu.

I get the same error (only by trying to open Koda): %1 is not a valid Win32 application.

Can someone please help me?

Does the Koda directory exists " C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\SciTE\Koda " on your installation, with the appropriate files in there?

What are the details of koda.exe?

Thanks for the quick reply Jos.

The Koda directory exists, and the file seems to be there.

I don't have Koda.exe, but the file is FD.exe:

   File description: AutoIt Form Designer

   File version: 1.7.3.0

   Product name: Koda FormDesigner

   Product version: 1.7

   Date modified: 30/07/2010 13:19

   Oroiginal filename: Koda

Well it works fine for me on Win10 x64 so maybe download the zip file and extarct a fresh copy of kd.exe to see whether that fixes it.
It could also be an AV installation screwing things up and not allowing the program to start.
