Guybrush29 Posted March 31, 2016 Share Posted March 31, 2016 Hi guys, im trying to making _sendmessage function works like controlclick and controlsend. Im testing it in a random program compiled in vb6 by me. Here is the code: #RequireAdmin #include <SendMessage.au3> Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", -1) HotKeySet("{F2}", "GG") Func GG() Local const $BM_CLICK = 0X201 Local $hWnd = WinWait("[CLASS:ThunderRT6FormDC]", "") Local $hControl = ControlGetHandle($hWnd, "TEST BY GUYBRUSH", "ThunderRT6PictureBoxDC5") ;THIS WORKS FINE WITH CONTROLCLICK AND CONTROLSEND. ControlClick($hWnd, "TEST BY GUYBRUSH", "ThunderRT6PictureBoxDC5", "Left", 2, 19, 14) ControlSend($hWnd, "TEST BY GUYBRUSH", "ThunderRT6PictureBoxDC5", "U") ;I want to do that with _sendmessage, instead of controlclick and controlsend. ;I have tried: _Sendmessage($hControl , $BM_CLICK, 19,14) _Sendmessage($hwnd,"TEST BY GUYBRUSH", $BM_CLICK, 19,14) ;i have no idea how to send a key with _sendmessage either. ;Nothing seems to works EndFunc I want to do: ControlClick($hWnd, "TEST BY GUYBRUSH", "ThunderRT6PictureBoxDC5", "Left", 2, 19, 14) ControlSend($hWnd, "TEST BY GUYBRUSH", "ThunderRT6PictureBoxDC5", "U") with _sendmessage instead of CONTROLclick and controlsend. I have read sendmessage function but still cant get the concept. I aprecciate your help, thanks guybrush Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
InunoTaishou Posted March 31, 2016 Share Posted March 31, 2016 What window message is $BM_CLICK? Read this to understand how to send a left button click to a window. Once you've sent your WM_LBUTTONDOWN you have to send WM_LBUTTONUP to complete the click. I believe there's a mouseclickplus udf somewhere around the forum too. You could try searching for that and see how they did it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guybrush29 Posted March 31, 2016 Author Share Posted March 31, 2016 _Sendmessage($hControl , WM_LBUTTONDOWN , 19,14) _Sendmessage($hControl , WM_LBUTTONUP , 19,14) Still didnt works, And i have previously declared WM_LBUTTONDOWN WM_LBUTTONUP Thanks for your help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

InunoTaishou Posted March 31, 2016 Share Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) I'm not surprised that you think that doesn't work. 19 is your wparam, 14 is your lparam. According the link I told you to read Quote wParam Indicates whether various virtual keys are down. This parameter can be one or more of the following values. lParam The low-order word specifies the x-coordinate of the cursor. The coordinate is relative to the upper-left corner of the client area. The high-order word specifies the y-coordinate of the cursor. The coordinate is relative to the upper-left corner of the client area. The LoWord of 14 is 14, the HiWord of 14 is 0, so your clicked at 14, 0. And Hex of 19 is 0x13, that doesn't look like any of the available wParams according to msdn. Though it doesn't really matter for what you're trying to do. Edited March 31, 2016 by InunoTaishou Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Right now i got this: expandcollapse popup#RequireAdmin #include <SendMessage.au3> Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", -1) HotKeySet("{F2}", "GG") While 1 Sleep(10) WEnd Func GG() Local $MK_LBUTTON = 0x0001 Local $WM_LBUTTONDOWN = 0x0201 Local $WM_LBUTTONUP = 0x0202 Local $MK_RBUTTON = 0x0002 Local $WM_RBUTTONDOWN = 0x0204 Local $WM_RBUTTONUP = 0x0205 Local $WM_MOUSEMOVE = 0x0200 Local $i = 0 Local $hWnd = WinWait("[CLASS:ThunderRT6FormDC]", "") Local $hControl = ControlGetHandle($hWnd, "TEST BY GUTBRUSH", "ThunderRT6PictureBoxDC5") ;Trying to do the same with sendmessage _Sendmessage($hControl , $WM_LBUTTONDOWN ,1,19,14) _Sendmessage($hControl , $WM_LBUTTONUP ,1,19,14) ;THIS WORKS FINE WITH CONTROLCLICK AND CONTROLSEND. ;ControlClick($hWnd, "TEST BY GUTBRUSH", "ThunderRT6PictureBoxDC5", "Left", 2, 19, 14) ;ControlSend($hWnd, "TEST BY GUTBRUSH", "ThunderRT6PictureBoxDC5", "U") ;I want to do that with _sendmessage, instead of controlclick and controlsend. EndFunc Still cant make a click with _sendmessage to 19,14 (x,y) of a control. im going to reach it hahaha thanks, guybrush Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
InunoTaishou Posted March 31, 2016 Share Posted March 31, 2016 _SendMessage ( $hWnd, $iMsg [, $wParam = 0 [, $lParam = 0 [, $iReturn = 0 [, $wParamType = "wparam" [, $lParamType = "lparam" [, $sReturnType = "lresult"]]]]]] ) Now you're sending wParam of 1, lParam of 19, and your return value is 14. Usually, in .net, using 'l' to start a variable name is going to make it type Long, 'w' is Word. You need to convert your x and y coordinates into a long value. You can do that by using the _WinApi_MakeLong function. I'd suggest working with some windows messages before you try sending them, so you can better understand what you're doing. _WinApi_LoWord($iLong) ; Returns the low word of a longword value _WinApi_HiWord($iLong) ; Returns the high word of a longword value _WinAPI_MakeLong($iLo, $iHi) ; Returns a long int value from two int values These are functions you will encounter, and should have used, when working with windows messages. Thanks, tell me if im right, the first number is the wparam and The number of clicks, ThE second number is The lparam and ThE x y cordinates that must be in long format, the lAST number is ThE return value that doesnt really matters. So, if i convert the x y to long using that api should this code works? Do you see ay other errors? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
