Using XML file to init variables in an AutoIT script

Is there a way to use parameters in an external file like an XML file?

If yes how can I do this ?

Download the Microsoft XML Parser SDK 3.0 from Microsoft

Refer to xmlsdk30.chm included with the SDK for all the methords and properties of the XML DOM (Document Object Model).

Is there another way like ini file to do what I want ie read parameters in an external file.
