[SOLVED] Get process ID by name

Hello,

Someone have a Func as this that can share here please?

@BrewManNH, I found this function following, but PID is returns always as zero (0).

Eg:

MsgBox($MB_OK, "Tutorial", ProcessGetId("notepad.exe"))

Func ProcessGetId($Process)
    If IsString($Process) = 0 Then
        SetError(2)
    ElseIf ProcessExists($Process) = 0 Then
        SetError(1)
    Else
        Local $PList = ProcessList($Process)

        Local $PId[$PList[0][0] + 1]

        For $i = 1 To $PList[0][0]
            $PId[$i] = $PList[$i][1]

That function returns an array, you can't access it that way.

Then, how can return only pid in this Func, like in example above made in Delphi?

just use the return of ProcessExists("Notepad.exe")

you get the Pid
