Accidentally overwritten my script and closed out SciTE

Hi, if you have overwritten the file, you may need to apply a third-party tool, I think you can try the *snip* tool, it supports deep scan, maybe it can help you recover overwritten data. You can just have a try, hope can help you.

since the post has already been raised and not locked yet, i'll just say for anyone interested, i keep ALL documents in the cloud (Gdrive, OneDrive, Dropbox) so they are always backed up in real time with MULTIPLE versions.

so when i get stupid and decide to completely re-write a script that was working perfectly only to biff it all up and didnt make a copy first, i am not completely f'd like this OP was.

If you can't or don't want to back up to the cloud, you should at least activate the following : SciTE Config

-> Set the number of backup files you wish to keep while editing your script ;)
