This is a work in progress. Your best bet for now is actually FileInstall.

This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). An absolute must have in your bookmarks.
Another excellent RegExp tutorial. Don't forget downloading your copy of up-to-date pcretest.exe and pcregrep.exe here

PCRE v8.33 regexp documentation latest available release and currently implemented in AutoIt beta.

SQLitespeed is another feature-rich premier SQLite manager (includes import/export). Well worth a try.
SQLite Expert (freeware Personal Edition or payware Pro version) is a very useful SQLite database manager.
An excellent eBook covering almost every aspect of SQLite3: a must-read for anyone doing serious work.
SQL tutorial (covers "generic" SQL, but most of it applies to SQLite as well)

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Download it manually though. Don't FileInstall it from the server or anything.

I am having the same issue.  I have created a program that inventories boxes that uses SQLite.  But now I am unable to get it to run because it wants to download the current version of SQLite.  I have looked at the SQLite.au3 and I can't figure out how to use a local copy of SQLite.dll.  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks in advance!

The error I receive:

There's an option to _SQLite_Startup() to force the use of a local DLL. (I use this in my application since it runs on a standalone machine.)

From the Help file:

_SQLite_Startup ( [$sDll_Filename = "" [, $bUTF8ErrorMsg = False [, $iForceLocal = 0 [, $hPrintCallback = $__g_hPrintCallback_SQLite]]]] )

Set $iForceLocal = 1 to use a local copy of the DLL. If you want to use the default DLL file name rather than a specific one, set $sDll_Filename = "" (empty string).

So with the new version of AutoIt (v3.3.14.2) it's now official, no download of the sqlite3.dll

Now in my scripts I start SQLite in this manner:

I try and if @error I fileinstall the .dll, messages only the first time.

well, I just read the http://sqlite.org/copyright.html and it can be distributed in the distribution of the installer. Most people ( including myself ), click-click again and again until .. "it works, I'm a genius". Therefore, I believe ( without years of experience distributing software, so I don't know for sure ), is that, the best way to maintain the "click-click, it works, I'm a genius" factor ( that allowed me later on, to actually learn to, somewhat, code ), is to have it in the installer. Just commenting out the downloader part in the UDF makes the distribution unnecessarily non-functional from the get go. So you see, I'm not selfish, I'm clueless ( was clueless ), and the UDF was designed ( on some versions of AutoIt ) to download when not found. What I propose is one possible solution.

SQLite is now distributed with AutoIt, so I don't see what the problem is. Create a new topic in future and don't hijack.
