francoiste
i need to expand environment variables in any arbitrary string.in my case those strings mainly consist of file paths, such as:%LocalAppData%\MyProgram\TestResults\%NUMBER_OF_PROCESSORS%\ \\myfileshare\MyProgram\UserProfiles\%USERNAME%\data\ %TEMP%\MyApp.log %SystemDrive%\history.txtobviously the function "EnvGet" doesn't help.surprisingly there seems to be no simple function to perform such expansion for entire strings?for example see the .NET method "Environment.ExpandEnvironmentVariables".
