Zipping or encrypt file using password! (Solved)

I found a UDF to zip files I need but I can not zip password using it, can anyone help?

My crystal ball says you have an error on line 15. Have you made sure line 15 is correct?

I use this UDF to password protect a ZIP file.

@Guinness Actually I can only zipping using the UDF and I have not found the zip option placing password using this UDF!

@Water I tried zipping using the example but I could not make it work!

EDITED: If there is a way to only encrypt the file using passcode solve my problem without having to zip!

When you get errors please post the error messages!

Zip32.dll did not initialize

Did you download the DLL with the UDF and store it in the same directory as the UDF?

Yes zip32.dll and unzip32.dll to be in directory and folder system32.

Creating a ZIP archive and encrypting a file are two completely different things. So, which road do you wanna go?

Either of the two is for me but I'll unzip or decrypt files several times so I prefer to use the function that does the job in less time!

Processing speed depends on the encryption algorithm you use. Check the _Crypt* functions for encrypting a file.

I followed your tip and everything worked out now, what algorithm you suggest I use to make the process faster?

No idea ... never used this functions myself. I just know where to look for such things
Use TimerInit/TimerDiff to measure performance of the algorithms and choose the fastest.
