Ping() cached?

I have this code:

    until $a=0
i'm offline and receive:

@error=4

i go online and every receive

@error=4

i stop script and restart i receive

@error=0

Do it is a bug? how to solve?

To less script info also you want to Ping something right? °-° just do

$IP = 'SomeIPorDomain.com'
$Ping = Ping($IP)
Consolewrite($IP & ' has been pinged your ms to ' & $IP & ' is ' & $Ping & 'ms')

Sorry I was writing the precise example.

I go offline and execute:

do
        Ping("www.google.com", 250)
        $a=@error
        msgbox(0, "aaaa", $a)
    until $a=0

msgbox wait ping and return 4

then i go online and click ok in the previous msgbox

msgbox not wait ping and return every 4 instead of 0.

it is as if the ping is cached and it is not rerun.

think you just need to slow your loop, this works

Is not a sleep problem, msgbox self create a sleep.

If you try also your example have same defect.

execute your script and return error

Go online

click msgbox, again it return error

Mine does not return an error when i go back online.  It returns the round trip time and exits the loop.

I not know because but i have every error and after first ping next not wait response from internet.

Same problem with InetGetSize() with $INET_FORCERELOAD parameter.

Not problem whit dos ping executed via runwait() autoit3.

Are you waiting long enough to make sure your computer is actually online? It usually takes at least a few seconds after plugging the network cable in, or reenabling a network adapter before you're actually online.

Yes, i wait also 5 minutes.

I see that ping() not wait response from internet it reminds previous ping and return immediately error.

My mod is only trying to test if UDP is working fine or not, as Ping is using ICMP.
I was hope that this small change:

is not so big.

Ok, i now have timed better.

The script work but after 34 seconds.

Instead via dos ping it is instantaneous, when just go online.

Please be exact. The script does work all the time but tell me exactly what the returned status is as I requested, before, directly after you disable, and the Enable and then after 34 seconds.
