Neil Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 heres my latest ... hope my files on the internet ( downloaded by end users ) dont have this problempeehtebee, Cyberslug-livewire-forever and valuaters files8(I used AVG to scan my script that McAfee had detected as a virus, but AVG didn't detect it as a virus.
rpolito30 Posted October 31, 2005 Posted October 31, 2005 I have also gotten this with the same beta version. I have found that if you are trying to use another *.ico file instead of the default *.ico, McAfee will detect something with the upx.exe as being a virus during the complilation.
Richard Robertson Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 (edited) McAfee has always had issues with non-virus files. If anyone has heard of Clickteam, their installers were considered high level threats at one point. Even empty ones. I use Symantec as I never seem to see any problems with good files.
