evgeny1976
Hi Forum Members.I'm really rookie in the AutoIt platform so I really apologize if my questions not defined well.I watched and practice "AutoIt Scripting Tutorial 9 Automating Installers & Programs Part 1" tutorial from Youtube and got stuck with the following problem. During the installation procedure of some installer, there is also a step of installing some third party software. The problem is that AutoIt Window Info doesn't show me coordinates of Yes/No radio buttons, so i could choose No (please see attachment). So my question is how do I chose No?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~#RequireAdminRun("C:\Users\MyUserName\Desktop" & '\SpeccySetup.exe')AutoItSetOption('MouseCoordMode',0)WinWait("Speccy v1.28 Setup")WinActivate("Speccy v1.28 Setup")MouseClick('primary', 451, 363, 1, 0)MouseClick('primary', 112, 124, 1, 0)MouseClick('primary', 235, 139, 1, 0)MouseClick('primary', 442, 367, 1, 0)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Thanks in advance. water
Welcome to AutoIt and the forum! Why automate the GUI? CCleaner can be installed silently by passing the /S parameter to the installation exe. Bert
This software supports command line switches when installing. When you make an installer - it is strongly suggested to always use command line switches when possible. Much more stable and no windows are presented to the user when the installer runs. edit - water beat me to it. What he is showing is how to use command line switches. evgeny1976
10x for the replies, but CC cleaner installation is embedded within Setup.exe I exercised the 9th tutorial from AutoIt youtube playlist. I can exercise another Setup.exe but since I stuck with this one it will be interesting to ask. In my day-by-day job I frequently see 3rd party software installers embedded within other installlers Edited May 31, 2015 by evgeny1976
