@nitekram: the code is not designed to work as a screensaver! Usually you have to do some work that the code is acting like a screensaver.

But the way you have described bring the GUI to the secure desktop (logon screen).

I have done this before with other scripts...I believe you can turn any exe into a screen saver - though you may not have options within the screen saver, if the code did nor provide those options.

Thank you UEZ and nitekram! I didn't know my 'suggestion' would get so many responses.

I'll try some of the suggestions. And as UEZ said, i was talking about the logon/lock screen (not just a general screensaver. I haven't used a screen saver since 1996. I just have my monitors turn off.

Probably the last update (I've still one "crazy" mode in mind).

• added speech output on the hour
• some settings are save now in the registry, e.g. windows position
• tray menu
• added another "crazy" mode
• changed background image (can be changed when a valid path is added in the registry -> Path_BgTexture)
• some small changes to the "eyes"

 

No About intro this time to keep source code "small" (sorry wakillon). I changed my mind.

Last update beside you will find a bug.

1. Changed seconds -> now displaying a light in pupils but you can display also the "nose" (see settings)
2. added settings menu reachable in system tray icon to change several settings

Update to Eye Clock v1.2.0 build 2015-06-10

Acually I didn't want to continue this project but I had still ideas that I wanted to implement like

• eye glass
• eyebrows
• more pupil effects

I hope you will like it.

 

When I open the settins window sometimes not all controls will be drawn. Any idea why this happens?

​You have to enable the transparent GUI option first. Afterwards you can enable the eye glass option.
