How do we reconcile the results of the function _IsPressed() with HotKeySet()

Respected programmers, tell me how to get the arguments in the correct format for the function HotKeySet () from the results function _IsPressed ()?

 

I need to allow the user to choose the key(eg left/right arrow), when pressed, will be called the desired function through HotKeySet ().

Not so simple as I thought. But there are a lot of good ready-made solutions!

Only for the first two solutions will not work with keys such as: {MEDIA_NEXT}, {MEDIA_PREV}, {MEDIA_STOP}

To answer your question directly, convert the _IsPressed() value to an integer and use that as the index for
an 0-based array e.g.

; You need to change this string to house all the hotkeys that match the is pressed number. If you see || that means the value is missing, like there is no equivalent for 15 for example.
Local $aHotKeys = StringSplit('HOTKEY1|HOTKEY2|HOTKEY3||...', '|', $STR_NOCOUNT)

Local $iIsPressedValue = Dec($sIsPressedValue)

Oh, but this is a simple solution that I thought.

 

The note in the description of "key" function HotKeySet stated: Same format as Send ().

So I thought that it understands the importance of codes like "Asc 0x0000". Well, to get the code of the pressed key by simply using _IsPressed().

 

Has not yet understood whether it is possible it is not an array solve

 

Of course that's assuming that I will not use complex combinations hotkeys. Otherwise, do not use the proposed UDF not do.

Although I do not figured out how to use them in my case..
