I recently started using this to create arrays from csv data after someone suggested it

Global $runcapture = ShellExecute(@ScriptDir & '\whatinstartup.exe', ' /scomma .\Logs\msconfig_logs\' & @OSVersion & '-' & @UserName & '-' & @MDAY & '-' & @MON & '-' & @MIN & '-' & @SEC & '.csv')

MsgBox($MB_ICONINFORMATION, 'Msconfig Capture Has Finished', @UserName & ' ' & @MDAY & ' ' & @MON & ' ' & @MIN & ' ' & @SEC & '.csv Created', 3)

This uses an external program to grab the list then i save it as an csv, but i need to manipulate the data as it has far too many colums so i came up with this using something ProgAndy made

#include <Array.au3>

$sopencsv = _ParseCSV( @ScriptDir & '\test.csv')
_ArrayDisplay($sopencsv)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,1)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,2)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,2)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,2)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,3)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,4)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,4)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,4)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,4)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,4)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,4)
_ArrayColDelete($sopencsv,4)
_ArrayDisplay($sopencsv, 'altered')
_WriteCSV(@ScriptDir & '\test.csv', $sopencsv,',')

So i cant think of a way to add the 2 together so it performs the adjustment for the colums as/or after the file is created.

The only other way i guess is a seperate program which collects all the fcsv files and for/next loop with the adjusments just before i start analizing them

Is there an easier way?

Thank you for this function, it works great.  One change that I needed to make was

Local $hFile = FileOpen($sFile, $aEncoding[$iFormat])
If @error Then Return SetError(2,@error,0)

FileOpen() does not, in my use anyway, set @error if the file does not exist, so I changed to

Local $hFile = FileOpen($sFile, $aEncoding[$iFormat]), $sLine, $aTemp, $aCSV[1], $iReserved, $iCount
    If @error Or $hFile = -1 Then Return SetError(1, @error, 0)
