Maran23
Hello everyone, I need help. My problem are Icons. I mostly make my Icons with gimp or Paint.net. When I create the Icon, all is fine. But when I use it to compile my program to a '.exe' - File, the Icons isn't so nice now. So my question, which resolution is the best for my Icons? (64x64?) And which program do you prefer or which one is really nice for Icons especially for Autoit. And one more: I make my Icons with a resolution like 400x400 and then I scaling it. Because it's easier. But is it also a good way? I'm sorry for bad english. Thanks in advance.

AZJIO
1. What size of icons in your file manager? 2. Make icons 16x16, 32x32, 48x48 and merge them into one file 3. Now popular to do icon 256x256, and it is automatically converted to the correct size. But the program size considerably increases. It is better to make small icon, because conversions always gives a vague icon My other projects or all
Maran23
Hello, Thanks for reply, I think I use normal Icons. [Normal size] What do you mean with merge into one file?
Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted January 18, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 18, 2015 If you use an actual icon creation application, it will merge all of the various resolution icon files into one.
