Script to find mouse position

Hi there,

Sometimes it is quite difficult to find mouse position with the window info tool. For example, when you click MS Word's round shaped button on the left most area. It will show a small window with some other options. Among them, if you want to check the mouse position of the button named "Word Options", you can't do that with window info tool. Because, when you click on window info tool, this small window will disappear. So i made this script to use such situations. It's mousecoordmode is set to window. Anyhow, since i am newbie in autoit, i don't know how to add a hotekey to run this script.

For the record, if you unfreeze window info tool instead of using finder tool, you can use the mouse as normal and get info on the fly.

Why do you want to automate Word by automating the GUI. By using COM you get much more reliable results.

A small part of the COM features is covered by the Word UDF that comes with AutoIt.

I don't think so, maybe useless for that particular purpose,

but for sure, soon or later, will be handy for someone, for some other use ...

sometime you can found an apparently useless code that can be very usefull instead for some other

to solve a specific problem that was not even in the thoughts of who wrote it
