Can somebody show how to use this function:

Tutorial: Writing High-DPI Win32 Applications:

  Quote

Call SetProcessDpiAwareness before you create the application window. You can only call SetProcessDpiAwareness once. If you call it more than once or if the application manifest specifies the DPI awareness level, the function call fails.

SetProcessDpiAwareness function

I try this:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <array.au3>

$__eDPIAWARNESS_Process_DPI_Unaware = 0
$__eDPIAWARNESS_Process_System_DPI_Aware = 1
$__eDPIAWARNESS_Process_Per_Monitor_DPI_Aware = 2

;~ _WinAPI_SetProcessDPIAwareness($__eDPIAWARNESS_Process_DPI_Unaware)
_WinAPI_SetProcessDPIAwareness($__eDPIAWARNESS_Process_System_DPI_Aware)
;~ _WinAPI_SetProcessDPIAwareness($__eDPIAWARNESS_Process_Per_Monitor_DPI_Aware)

MsgBox(0, 'GetProcessDPIAwareness', _WinAPI_GetProcessDPIAwareness())

Example()

Func _WinAPI_GetProcessDPIAwareness()
    Local $iRet
    Local $aRet = DllCall('Shcore.dll', 'int', 'GetProcessDPIAwareness', 'hwnd', Null, 'int', $iRet)
    _ArrayDisplay($aRet,'$aRet')
    Return $iRet
EndFunc   ;==>_WinAPI_GetProcessDPIAwareness

Func _WinAPI_SetProcessDPIAwareness($iPROCESS_DPI_AWARENESS)
    Return DllCall('Shcore.dll', 'int', 'SetProcessDPIAwareness', 'int', $iPROCESS_DPI_AWARENESS)
EndFunc   ;==>_WinAPI_SetProcessDPIAwareness

Func Example()
    ; Create a GUI with various controls.
    Local $hGUI = GUICreate("Example", 300, 200)

    ; Create a button control.
    Local $iNotepad = GUICtrlCreateButton("Run Notepad", 120, 170, 85, 25)
    Local $iClose = GUICtrlCreateButton("Close", 210, 170, 85, 25)

    ; Display the GUI.
    GUISetState(@SW_SHOW, $hGUI)

    Local $iPID = 0

    ; Loop until the user exits.
    While 1
        Switch GUIGetMsg()
            Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, $iClose
                ExitLoop

            Case $iNotepad
                ; Run Notepad with the window maximized.
                $iPID = Run("notepad.exe", "", @SW_SHOWMAXIMIZED)

        EndSwitch
    WEnd

    ; Delete the previous GUI and all controls.
    GUIDelete($hGUI)

    ; Close the Notepad process using the PID returned by Run.
    If $iPID Then ProcessClose($iPID)
EndFunc   ;==>Example

and I know I doing something wrong ?

any hint ?

EDIT:

changed Shcore.lib to Shcore.dll

EDIT 2:

I see now why:

Minimum supported client
Windows 8.1 [desktop apps only]
Minimum supported server
Windows Server 2012 R2 [desktop apps only]

Hi to close for next user reading

the error was coming from _WinAPI_GetProcessDPIAwareness() DPI must be Dpi and the retrun must be from the return array [2]

Func _WinAPI_GetProcessDPIAwareness()
    Local $aRet = DllCall('Shcore.dll', 'int', 'GetProcessDpiAwareness', 'hwnd', Null, 'int*', 0)
    _ArrayDisplay($aRet,'$aRet')
    Return $aRet[2]
