hold a button down when pressed

i want to lock a button down when it is pressed more like a option select

Look at the Extended Style parameter for GuiCtrlCreateButton in the help file, specifically $BS_3STATE, to see if that fits your needs.

I would suggest using a checkbox with the $BS_PUSHLIKE style:
