Customising SciTE for AutoIt3 ?

Hi All,

I'm discovering AutoIt3 and using SciTE to learn from the examples and help file.

I was wondering if there were some customisations to SciTE buitl from AutoIt3 experience ? For instance, I would be interested in:

• Add toolbar buttons for Sh+F5 (clear output),  Ctrl+F5 (syntax check), F5 (Run)... and more :-)
• Can the Output (console) window be made independent/floating and possibly "pinned on top" ?
• Can I use SciTE in two pane(l)s view ? (Like in N++)

See my signature for a toolbar add-on for SciTE, there are also others that would work for it too.

• Can the Output (console) window be made independent/floating and possibly "pinned on top" ?

Not natively, there might be an add-on that will do that, or a rewritten version that has that.

• Can I use SciTE in two pane(l)s view ? (Like in N++)

Thx John, I was on the d/l page but obviously overlooked the au3.properties download (if that is what you referred to).

If after all of that you still want more control then download SciTE Customization GUI found in my signature.  This utility will give you total control over the theme and many other relevant SciTE properties and SciTE4AutoIt3 settings too.

Thanks to all for your input -- I confirm the saying: support here is just great

Hm, when running Scitetoolbar_v2_0.au3 I'm just getting this:

Any ideas what could be causing it?

You can remove all of the extraneous lines that contain #Obfuscator_Ignore_Funcs and any other lines that give you a warning message, this script was written before Obfuscator was removed and Au3Stripper was used in place of it.

Also change the following.

; change the second line
$go[$x][0] = GUICtrlCreateIcon(@ScriptDir & "\bin\" & $aToolbar_Info[$x][1], -1, $y + 4, 1, 18, 18, _
        Default, $SS_LEFT)
