TechCoder
what have you tried? you say you find nothing in the readme file (I will presume you mean the help file????) - what about Send() ???? To hold a key down Send("{a down}") ;Holds the A key down Send("{a up}") ;Releases the A key a quick Google search for "autoit hold a key" produced several results that would have told you that....... Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted August 18, 2014 Moderators Share Posted August 18, 2014 Also, can you explain more about what you are attempting to do? We've all been on "Day 1" before, but you may find if you explain in detail what application you're trying to manipulate, or what the end goal is, there may be a much easier way to accomplish what you're trying to do. corgano
Check the help file, useful keywords include Hotkeyset, Send, Senddown. Look at the example scripts for usage, and at the related functions for other ideas. You can also start typing a function name in SciTE, and you can see possible functions in autocomplete or press F1 to open the help file to that function. The help file is awesome Try writing some code, and if you still can't get it to work post back. 0x616e2069646561206973206c696b652061206d616e20776974686f7574206120626f64792c20746f206669676874206f6e6520697320746f206e657665722077696e2e2e2e2e
