DavidGege Posted August 2, 2014 Share Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) Hi, I was wondering if there's any good resources to start learning AutoIt syntax and making some sample scripts for learning? I checked out the wiki, but a lot of the tutorials over there are pretty old, many of them created/updated before 2010, and I know AutoIt has been actively updated and patched even now. Admittedly I haven't thoroughly looked through them, so if they're still good to be used and won't teach the wrong functions and such, I'll definitely go through them. I'm no expert programmer; I've only done some basic Java, and I use SQL at work, so going through the raw documentation bit by bit would definitely be a very arduous process. computergroove Posted August 2, 2014 Share Posted August 2, 2014 Ill tell you that if you have a project to work on you will be more eager to learn. If you goto the general help and support and read the posts and try to understand what each line does you will get pretty good pretty quick. There is an unlimited amount of content to read and disect and eventually you can make some open source stuff and submit yourself. You can add functionality to autoit as well. All and all a really cool forum to be a part of. Read the rules and follow them.
