BrewManNH
When using the zip file it is assumed to run portable and that means these files are in the right place for running it in that mode. I don't understand that answer. These files are in the Scite folder, and if I just copy them into an existing installation (yes, in a portable "install"), it will overwrite my settings files. Forgive me if my intelligence is not enough to understand something that is very simple for you, but it would be great If you could reproduce an example. JS There was no intent to question your intelligence and you only asked where to make the change I indicated. Well the "where" is described in the helpfile. So have you made the change in %localappdata%AutoIt v3SciTEAutoIt3WrapperAutoIt3Wrapper.ini and didn't it work? If so then tell me what you exactly did and show me the SciTEOutput pane info when doing a Compile. coderpro
Au3Stripper /rsln replaces an incorrect number for @ScriptLineNumber in a function parameter default value. v14.801.1932.0 currently replaces @ScriptLineNumber in a function parameter default with the line number of the callee code. It should be the line number of the caller code. To implement this, it could automatically insert default arguments for all unspecified function arguments and also the line number of the calling code, where the function call occurs. Here is the bug report that I posted for this issue: https://www.autoitscript.com/trac/autoit/ticket/2867#ticket Thanks Jos for making quality tools for AutoIt development. Developers Jos Posted August 29, 2014 Author Developers Share Posted August 29, 2014 (edited) /rsln is missing in the Au3Stripper Documentation. Is already fixed in my repo. Will the following code still work correctly? _Error("Hello, World!") Func _Error($sMsg, $iLine = @ScriptLineNumber) ConsoleWrite("Error on line " & $iLine & ": " & $sMsg & @LF) EndFunc Of course not is the obvious statement as the @ScriptLineNumber is replaced with the actual line number it is on, plus the fact that you cripple the Func. This option is there for Debugging purposes and people are expected to understand what they are doing. As to the shown code there is an easy fix. Just use: _Error("Hello, World!", @ScriptLineNumber ) Jos Edited August 29, 2014 by Jos SciTE4AutoIt3 Full installer Download page - Beta files Read before posting How to post scriptsource Forum etiquette Forum Rules Live for the present, Dream of the future, Learn from the past. If so what are they please. calltip.au3.delimiter.style is an modification I made in SciTE and described in the History of the helpfile: - Added logic to better determine the current CallTip parameter being edited by testing for the delimiter style define with: calltip.au3.delimiter.style=8 It Fixes the fact that comma's in literal strings of Calltips were considered delimiters. This parameters tells SciTE which style is used as Delimiter so any other comma is ignored. Guess nobody really noticed this change in the last version. And what other options than 8 might there be if any? For example is 9 an option? If so then what would it mean? Where do I find out? Etc. Exit
There was a recent change for ShowProgress when using F7. The progressbar isn't shown anymore. #AutoIt3Wrapper_ShowProgress=N/Y may be used to alter the behaviour. And a INI settingprogressbar=1 can do the job, due to the change log.
