Dieuz Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 (edited) I want to call a specific function every 2 minutes. I also have a GUI element running. These two thing require me to have two "While" loop running at the same time. I come up with the following solution that is working but I would like to know if it's the optimal one. $timestamp = TimerInit() ;start timer While 1 $msg = GuiGetMsg() Select Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case Else EndSelect ;Run function every two minutes If TimerDiff($timestamp) > 120000 Then myfunc() ;Reset timer $timestamp = TimerInit() Endif WEnd Edited June 10, 2014 by Dieuz

Just don't use 2 While loops or you might get stuck in one of them with no way out of it if you do it wrong.
