For what it's worth this is how far I've come with refactoring CodeWizard:

My intentions so far is to make it easier to read the code, and to make the gui work and look a bit better.  There is still much left to be done.

Did you reach out to gcriaco to see if he's ok with this?

Not so weird, the Proper=0 setting will totally skip the proper logic thus will not show the issue any more. The delim=0/1 setting is just about the spacing around delimiters, which is part of the wh

Just want to avoid several forks of a utility that is included and me having to pick one :)

Appreciate the initiative to make things better and guess he's ok with it since the sources hasn't been updated since 2006, but lets see what he says.

some question/case about SciTE Config:

1.

Who manage this ?

2.

on "Editor Colors" tab, there is no setting for User UDF colors.

3.

There is very good option "Change Scheme" but how I can save my own scheme ?

Just Save+Apply is not enough, because when I try Jos or Valik or Old Scheme How I can back to my Own Saved scheme ?

4.

When you go to "Other Tools" tab and "Run AutoIt3 Registry check" then new window appear.

Just just close this new window, now try to close SciTE Config by clicking in Exit.

5.

Usually I have disabled "CallTip displayed above function"

but when I choose this and click "Save+Apply" then changes made immediately

but now I try to disable this "CallTip displayed above function"

And what I see this CheckBox is not Chcecked why ?

When I Chceck it again and uncheck to (I want disable this feature) then I click "Save+Apply" but nothing change in SciTE.

I am and Melba23 has helped a lot.

There is no user UDF color defined in the au3lexer.

3.

Take the saved info from SciTEUser.properties and create your own MY.SciTEConfig with the format as shown in the example files.

Today again I note problems with SciTE for the functions UNDO / REDO.
The problem is that for example a few minutes I create the code, and you know I'm writing copy paste, cut it out, etc.
Then after a few minutes I need to use UNDO so I use CTRL + Z.

The problem is that the program returns to UNDO the prior five minutes, and not the last change.

Has anyone ever experienced a similar problem?

For now I do not have any repro.

The problem I had previously several times (at different time intervals).

SciTE Restarting did not help.

There isn't much I can do as my magic wand is in the repair shop together with the crystal ball.

Provide proper details on how to replicate the "doesn't work" scenario so I can have a look.

SciTE Restarting did not help.

Please check if you are using the latest AutoItIndentFix.lua as I put a fix in there for some start/stop Undo a couple of days ago.

I have experienced the same issue mLipok described but it has happened twice in like three weeks. No reproduced I am afraid.

Just do an upgrade of the file, restart SciTE and see if it re-occurs.

I have had a version were it could happen that the "editor:BeginUndoAction()" was executed with the "editor:EndUndoAction()" ever being reached.

This would also happen when the LUA function would fail between these statements.

Updated Directives.au3 with the correct base version.

 

The DIrective will also be added to autoit3wrapper.keywords.properties in the next release for proper syntax color.

I use this abbreviations

here is what I see:

Yes ... and what is the question?

The AutoComplete shows a option it found in the script and the typed test is RED so recognised as an ABBREV.

I back to this case.

I write

For0ub

and press SPACEBAR and now appear For0UBound() 

script is very small 40 lines, I do not see anywhere that text For0UBound() EDIT: (besides which has just appeared)

I check it several times.

 

But......

in S4A I open new document (CTRL+N) save them as au3 file and now trying

I write

For0ub

and press SPACEBAR and now appear For $i = 0 To UBound() -1

So I back to my 40 lines script and issue ..... disappeared

I can not call him again.

Normally just me tear with laughter.
Now, after half an hour of analysis, the problem appeared again.

EDIT:

But if I just use CTRL+TAB and CTRL+SHIFT+TAB to switch beetwen scripts then issue disappeared , again.

When I test your posted code, the end result depends on what key I press:

 

- If I press {SPACE} I always get the abbreviation expanded,

- If I press {ENTER} I always get the function name.

Which is exactly what I would expect. What key are you pressing each time? :huh:

Anyway, why not just rename the function so that the naming conflict is no longer present? ;)
