BrewManNH
Look at the Run command in the help file and look at the examples using StdOut. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. mohan93
BrewManNH, I have seen the stdOut under help. I got few example code, but am lost how to fit in my requirement in it. My requirement: want to run the below in command prompt. "C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft SDKsWindowsv7.0ABinCorflags.exe" "C:tempMyapplication.exe" want to write and display only few of the output command. My example script: #include <Constants.au3> Local $foo = Run("sort.exe", @SystemDir, @SW_HIDE, $STDIN_CHILD + $STDOUT_CHILD) StdinWrite($foo, "rat" & @CRLF & "cat" & @CRLF & "bat" & @CRLF) StdinWrite($foo) ; Read from child's STDOUT and show Local $data While True $data &= StdoutRead($foo) If @error Then ExitLoop Sleep(25) WEnd MsgBox(0, "Debug", $data) Am confused to fit my requirement in it.
