bobbinmp Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Hi The Image that i upload is a ribbon of Outlook. I want to click on the button "Archive" (Marked with red rectangle). I done it using mouse position. But I want to know is it possible with the command "ControlClick". I think its possible. The main disadvantage that i found the click using mouse position is, its differ according to the size of the window... Thanks in advance Bobbin
stormbreaker Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Fire up the Au3Info.exe program (its in the same directory as autoit). Drag the finder tool on the position where your Archive button is present. If it is able to draw a rectangle (or maybe detect the text written there), then ControlClick can work for you, else I m afraid, you have to stick to the old method ---------------------------------------- :bye: Hey there, was I helpful? ---------------------------------------- My Current OS: Win8 PRO (64-bit); Current AutoIt Version: v3.3.8.1
bobbinmp Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 Hi stormbreaker I'm afraid, Its not able to draw the rectangle. Rectangle is showing for all the ribbon . If i use mouse position, do u think is it a good option ?. How can i get the correct position of the "Archive" button after the user resize the outlook window?
FireFox Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 There are shortcuts for those buttons, press Alt and you'll see what key to use
jdelaney Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 You can ID the buttons via this one: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> IEbyXPATH-Grab IE DOM objects by XPATH IEscriptRecord-Makings of an IE script recorder ExcelFromXML-Create Excel docs without excel installed GetAllWindowControls-Output all control data on a given window.
bobbinmp Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 Hi FireFox What you mean by "IMO, accelerators"
FireFox Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 In My Opinion And by accelerators, I mean keyboard accelerators.
FireFox Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 The ones beginning with "Alt" and specific to an application.
