Hi, I am having issues on trying to learn how to save a file to the Roaming Folder. Here is what I want to do--

$User = 'onlinethlive'
FileWrite("[Roaming]/program/User.txt", $User)

Thank you for your help and support!!!

How do I insert that into this-

FileWrite("[@AppDataDir]/program/User.txt", $User)

Why in the world are you putting the @AppDataDir inside brackets? Where did you see that as the way to write that?

Use this:

FileWrite(@AppDataDir & "\program\User.txt", $User)

BTW, Windows uses back slashes to separate file path elements.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
