Alexxander
hi i'm making a script that u give it a directory path and it search for all txt files in it and remove the last charterer from every txt file i tried this #include <File.au3> #include <Array.au3> $path = "C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\New folder" $arr = _FileListToArray($path, "*.txt",1) For $n = UBound($arr) - 1 to 1 step -1 $txtpath = ($path & "\" & $arr[$n]) $read = FileRead($txtpath) $handle = FileOpen($txtpath, 2) ConsoleWrite($read) $string = StringTrimRight($read, 1) FileWrite($txtpath,$string) FileClose($handle) Next it is working well when i put the files in "new folder". but my problem is that "new folder" contains 5 directories in it and each one of them contains files that must be last char deleted so i want Autoit to delete last char from all files in a directory even if they are sub folders any ideas ?
