Oyvlei
Hello people! So I was wondering if it is possible to delete files starting with a certain name. I need to replace old outdated files with new ones. Say loads of files are like test4343434344 and test95458459495, all starting with "test", and I want to delete all files starting with "test". Any help is appriciated!

Moderators Solution Melba23 Posted December 23, 2013 Moderators Solution Share Posted December 23, 2013 Oyvlei,The accounts are merged. And I suggest you read up on the Forum rules before you post again as your record so far is pretty dismal. As to your question, if the files are all in the same folder then you can use FileDelete with a wildard ("test*.*" should work) - if they are in several folders than you can use the _FileListToArrayRec function to list them and then loop through the returned array deleting them in turn by name.
