Not really: "Do 1" meant to do what I describe in point 1 which is: Use the installer when you don't understand how things work.

Into a fresh VM I installed AutoIt 3.3.10.0 with the installer : I obtain the same "TAB character" bug.

After, if I add the full SciTE4AutoIt3 with the installer : same problem.

Maybe do you have any idea about it ?

Then I guess I do not understand your issue you are describing.

Empty line are stripped from the whitespace in case they only contain spaces or tabs. is that what your issue is?

Yes, it's my issue : it's very useful to me to keep that lines with TABS characters, and it works with SciTe provided with AutoIt 3.3.8.1

For now I keep that version only for that.

Please, do you know how I can change the good setting with the new SciTe4AutoIt ?

This behaviour is controlled by the below option and has been there at least since 2009:

strip.trailing.spaces=1

Just copy this line into your SciTEUser.properties and change the 1 into a 0.

I'm just curious : AutoIt 3.3.8.1 is not very old, so why do you said "2009" ?

I checked the SVN versioning history for the file and can see when this line was updated in SciTEGlobal.properties, which was the SciTE4AutoIt3 version release on 05/21/2009.

The setting in the lite version was indeed changed at a later date. (June 2012), but are the same now.

Idea for little improvement of new AutoIt3Wrapper_testing directive:

#AutoIt3Wrapper_testing=n ;(Y/N) skip Tidy, Obfuscator, ResourceUpdates & Versioning for speed while testing. Default=N

 

It should also take into account (disable) UPX directive #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseUpx=y

This is already the case for the AutoIt3Wrapper UPX function. The Pragma(UPX,) option will still be processed.
