corgano
I'm not sure if this should be help and support, COM help, or chat, so I posted it here I've been dealing with Acrobat (8.1 Pro) using the COM interface and the acroexch.app object and it's javascript interface to do a variety of tasks with PDF's (take a large file, read the text of the pages, split it into separate files depending on results). It works pretty well, but Acrobat has been glitchy and slow and loves to mess up the pdf file. I'm vetting sick of having to rescan a batch because acrobat messed up the internal PDF structure Does anyone else know of some kind of free PDF tool that's usable from autoit? Somthing command line? OR even better, something with an OLE interface? Acrobat is really getting on my nerves 0x616e2069646561206973206c696b652061206d616e20776974686f7574206120626f64792c20746f206669676874206f6e6520697320746f206e657665722077696e2e2e2e2e

corgano
I can't find any documentation about it, and am looking into it. I specifically need to be able to read text from pages, extract pages from PDF's and make new PDF's from them, open close and save files. Pure autoit is impressive Any other potential tools?
