chaichaoyi
Hi guys, I am writing a script to be used by others. For liability issues, I want to keep a log of the script, including when it is started, paused, resumed, and terminated. To record when it is started is trivial. To record when it is terminated can be done with OnAutoItExitRegister("MyTestFunc") How about recording when it is paused and resumed? By that, I mean users can manually click on the System Tray to pause and resume the script... There should be a way to check the status, but I don't know how... Please help! Moderators Melba23 Posted October 20, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 20, 2013 chaichaoyi,I would suggest removing the automatic actions from the tray icon and substituting your own click handler. That way you can write to your log as it happens: #include <Constants.au3> HotKeySet("{ESC}", "On_Exit") Opt("TrayOnEventMode", 1) ; Use event trapping for tray menu Opt("TrayMenuMode", 3) ; Default tray menu items will not be shown. ; Set functions for left click TraySetOnEvent($TRAY_EVENT_PRIMARYUP, "On_Click") ; Flag to indicate status $fPaused = False While 1 Sleep(10) WEnd Func On_Click() ; Toggle the flag $fPaused = Not $fPaused ; Write log If $fPaused Then ConsoleWrite("Paused" & @CRLF) Else ConsoleWrite("Running" & @CRLF) EndIf EndFunc Func On_Exit() Exit EndFuncAll clear?
